Can Arsenal ‘gun’ down the valiant Tigers?

Over the past couple of weeks, Hull City have managed to claim some vital points off two of the Premier League’s giants. With a 2-0 home win against Liverpool last weekend and holding Manchester United to a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford, it’s setting the scene for an interesting fixture when they head to the Emirates to face an under performing Arsenal side tomorrow afternoon.

Wenger’s bunch have been on the other side of the form book to their opponents recently. Disappointingly losing against Watford two weeks ago was further worsened by a frustrating 2-1 defeat to one time league and city rivals Chelsea this weekend past. The gunners simply have to get back to winning ways, whilst we all enjoy ArsenalFanTV after a defeat, they are a team that have simply not been good enough of late and  it’s hard not to feel sorry for the fans paying well over the odds to watch their team play in such poor form.

Hull, however will be looking to claw anything they can out of the fixture, a draw would see them on an equal points tally with 15th place, and with 16th place Leicester dropping form rapidly into dangerous territory, who’s task is not made any easier by going into a tricky fixture against a rejuvenated Swansea. it’s safe to say a point would be huge for the North East men in their battle to remain in the Premier League.

Oliver Giroud, scoring what will surely be crowned goal of the season with this fantastic scorpion kick against Crystal Palace

Arsenal will have to take advantage of Hull’s lengthening casualty list. With the likes of their captain Dawson, Hernandez and Mason sidelined the Londoner’s will be looking to the talent of Alexis Sanchez and scorpion kick hero Giroud to bring back some flair to the tepid performances of late, and with any luck lift some very deflated spirits in North London.

I just hope they’re prepared for a fired up Hull.

Prediction: Arsenal 1 – Hull City 1
